Both projects, for which AlgaEnergy has consorted with 14 companies and several first-class research centers, seek out to increase the efficiency, quality, functionality and sustainability in the field of human nutrition by using innovative healthy ingredients. In this context, microalgae, catalogued as the food of the millennium by the UN, can play a key role towards increasing the healthy functionality of everyday foods.
AlgaEnergy is the only microalgae company in both innovation projects, such as in every other project AlgaEnergy is involved.
