The success and interest aroused by the microalgae based biostimulants at Macfrut 2019, a reference fair for the fruit and vegetable sector in Europe, was reiterated at the Congress ‘Agri Biostimulants’.

The microalgae-based biostimulants AgriAlgae® keeps growing in the Italian market. To the success of its participation at the fair Macfrut 2019 and the growing satisfaction of the farmers who have already used on their crops, AlgaEnergy adds the interest gathered in the Congress 'Agri Biostimulants', which took place on the 5^th and the 6^th of June in Rome. AlgaEnergy participated for a second year in a row and as a distinguished sponsor and took advantage of its participation in the congress to present its innovative value proposal.

AlgaEnergy’s participation included a presentation held by Douglas Ry Wagner, President of International AgriBusiness at AlgaEnergy. In his presentation titled “Biostimulants: a key input for Integrated Crop Management practice”, Wagner highlighted the properties that make microalgae probably the best raw material to develop innovative, sustainable and highly efficient plant biostimulants, which are as well comprised in AgriAglae®, the range of microalgae derived biostimulants.

The participation in ‘Agri Biostimulants’, in addition to the presence at Macfrut 2019 a couple of weeks ago, represent a good example of AlgaEnergy’s interest in the Italian market. In this regard, Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s Managing Director, highlighted that “Italy is a key market in the context of our international expansion. The interest generated in these relevant events encourages us to keep putting all our efforts in strengthening our presence and positioning in this important market”.
